I just wanted to send you an email to let you know, our guide Jorge on Thursday was absolutely fantastic. He made Roatan our favorite port of the cruise (at least for me). Great guy, really easy to get along with, took us to some great spots, and made us feel really special.

WHEN we come back to Roatan, we're definitely booking you guys again, and will bribe whoever we need to to get Jorge again.

Give that man a huge raise!

In short, we had a blast! This was our second time touring Roatan with Bodden Tours. Both experiences were excellent.

This trip, Dali was our guide. He did an amazing job. He drove us all over the island, showed us the sights, and even found us some great local food (we hate tourist food).

Just wanted to tell you about our experience with your tour group. We arrived last Thursday, February 5th, Ron was there to meet us as soon as we arrived over the hill. He proceeded to give us an AMAZING tour!!! Super polite, got to know us so that he could personalize the tour and make it better for us.

Found out that my teenagers were both in high school Spanish classes, so he practiced Spanish with them..... heard my friend say she loved the older houses, so he made sure to swing by areas she could get pics of it. When my daughter said she played soccer, he made sure to include details about soccer in your country for her. Absolutely wonderful guide!! Was very funny, and very knowledgeable about the area. Couldn't have asked for a better guide!!!

We also stopped at your Animal Sanctuary. I have to admit, this was the part of the tour i was looking forward to the most for myself and my teenagers and my 2 yr old niece. We were handed off to Karen, who was just wonderful!! She was very good about keeping the monkeys from jumping on my niece(well, as much as possible.haha)

She also was very informative, told us quite a bit about the animals, and was very nice.

So all in all, we had an absolutely wonderful time and couldn't be more pleased with the tour. Will definitely come back again and will tell others!!

You have been most responsive and I appreciate that! I felt very comfortable booking your tour online.The van was comfortable and we enjoyed seeing your island. The guide was very flexible. We would have loved to hear more about your island from the guide. He seemed quiet and shy and did not do a lot of talking, unless we asked him a question. All in all, we enjoyed the tour. We wanted to eat at a local restaurant and it seemed more like a tourist place than somewhere that the locals eat. We wish you only the best! Good luck! We had a wonderful time on our tour. William was our guide, and we were very, very pleased with him. He went out of his way to help us find coffee to take back with us to the states--accompanying us into a grocery store and helping us figure out prices. He is a very kind and knowledgeable guide, and he gave us a complete tour of the island.

One of the highlights of our tour was your zip line. None of us had ever been on a zip line before, and the person who helped us through the course was wonderful. We felt very secure because of him. Also, the young man who took us through your monkey and bird zoo was delightful. We really enjoyed that experience because of him.

I will highly recommend your tour to anyone I know who is plans to Roatan. We would not have enjoyed the island as much without your tour guides.

We really enjoyed our time on Roatan and found our guide, Anna, to be an asset to your company and to our Jan. 29 visit. Anna was knowledgeable and candid. She was different from many guides, who are almost too enthusiastic. Actually, it took me a while to get accustomed to her personality. It seemed as if she did not answer questions right away. I finally figured out it was because she was thinking about her response, rather than just issuing a pre-packaged answer.

The island itself was a treat. In reading Internet posts, I had the impression Roatan was a teeming cesspool of crime and squalor. Instead, it turned out Roatan is a very pretty green island with probably less danger to the tourist than New Orleans, where many cruisers spend a few days before or after the cruise.

My wife, mom and I booked a private tour with your company and it couldn't have been more fun for the 5 hours we had off the Carnival Cruise boat. Your directions to our guide was spot on with a quick $2/pp taxi ride to our waiting guide Howard. We found that it was better to take the taxi over the small hill because we felt we would have been harassed by other tour companies if we didn't take the taxi.

Howard our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the island and took us to some very interesting places which we wouldn't have known about without a local guide. He gave us great information on the islands history, ecology, lifestyles and customs in addition to taking us to a restaurant directly on the beach in west end where we had some local seafood and beers.

We highly recommend this private tour and having Howard as a guide even though I'm sure your company has other excellent guides. We will absolutely book your tour again on our next trip to Roatan.

My wife and I scheduled a "Fun & Sun" tour prior to our cruise. As it turned out, my wife and I were the only ones scheduled so were delighted with a personal tour with Wordy. He gave us an excellent exposure to the land and people of Roatan and answered our many questions sincerely and thoroughly. We would definitely take the opportunity to see your island with him if we had the opportunity in the future.

We had a wonderful tour of Roatan with Doley(driver) we visited an iguana farm, high viewing point where you could buy local crafts and see our ship the Dream, and ended in half moon bay for a swim and a beer. Doley was extremely pleasant and very informative about Roatan and customs.

My friend Sandy and I had a wonderful time with your driver and guide Tex. We had him for about 4 hours and he was fun and informative. We even coaxed a few personal stories out of him that we swore to keep secret! Being 2 women alone it is so important to feel safe and protected. He took us to buy bottled water as well as do a little shopping. The sites were beautiful and he took us to a lovely place for lunch. We tried to talk him into taking us to a more 'authentic' eating place, but he seemed to feel uncomfortable with that idea, so we went to Half Moon Cafe and the food was good. I really appreciated the fact that he helped me with my wifi and I was able to get a short message out to my family and even let my friend make a call to her daughter. We didn't do any of the other excursions but what we did was wonderful.
